The Colony families in Lewisville ISD have strong neighborhood schools, but for students with dyslexia, ADHD, or other learning differences, the standard classroom model can hold bright kids back.
Fairhill School is located at 16150 Preston Road, Dallas, TX 75248, about 20 minutes east of The Colony. We are a college preparatory school for students with learning differences in grades 1 through 12.
Beyond Lewisville ISD
Lewisville ISD provides accommodations as required, but the classroom experience for a student with dyslexia or ADHD remains fundamentally the same: large classes, standard instruction, and support that addresses the edges rather than the core.
Fairhill takes a different approach. With a 7:1 student-to-teacher ratio, multisensory instruction across all subjects, and faculty who average 12-15 years of tenure specializing in learning differences, the entire school is designed around how your child learns.
Every classroom, every day. Teachers know your child by name and catch struggles before they become failures.
Our graduates arrive at college knowing how they learn, what they need, and how to advocate for themselves.
Since 1971. 70% of faculty hold advanced degrees with 12-15 years average tenure.
What Changes
Students at Fairhill stop struggling to keep up and start discovering what they are capable of. They learn how their brain works, develop strategies that play to their strengths, and build self-advocacy skills they will carry into college and beyond.
Our 100% college acceptance rate reflects genuine preparation. Students arrive at university knowing how to manage their learning independently.
Fairhill is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools with all credits fully transferable.
