The Legacy West corridor sits at the intersection of Plano and Frisco, two of the fastest-growing school districts in Texas. Both districts invest heavily in education. Neither was built around students with learning differences.
Fairhill School is located at 16150 Preston Road, Dallas, TX 75248, about 15-20 minutes south of Legacy West via the Dallas North Tollway. We serve students in grades 1 through 12 with dyslexia, ADHD, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and auditory processing disorder.
Beyond the Legacy Corridor
Parents in the Legacy corridor often start with a familiar path: request testing, get a diagnosis, push for a 504 plan or IEP, hire tutors, and hope the combination is enough. For some students, it is. For others, each year widens the gap between what they are capable of and what the school environment allows them to demonstrate.
Fairhill exists for the second group. Students of average to above average intelligence who have not failed but have never been given the chance to succeed on their own terms. At Fairhill, 100% of students have a diagnosed learning difference. The school was not designed for neurotypical learners with LD students mixed in.
Every classroom, every day. Teachers know your child by name and catch struggles before they become failures.
Our graduates arrive at college knowing how they learn, what they need, and how to advocate for themselves.
Since 1971. 70% of faculty hold advanced degrees with 12-15 years average tenure teaching students with learning differences.
What Changes
Fairhill maintains college preparatory rigor. Students follow a college prep curriculum and graduate with a 100% college acceptance rate. They arrive at university with the skills to succeed independently, not just academically but in managing their own learning.
Faculty stability sets Fairhill apart. Teachers average 12-15 years of tenure. Seventy percent hold advanced degrees. They have built careers around understanding how students with learning differences learn best. With a 7:1 student-to-teacher ratio, every student is known and every struggle is caught early.
Legacy West families have formed carpools and built lasting connections through the school’s parent network and community events.
